Born in 1958.
Graduated from Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR in 1981. Speaks English, Arabic, French and German.
Began his diplomatic career in 1981.
Served at the Soviet/Russian Embassy in Kuwait (1981-1986), in Libya (1988-1993).
1997-1999 – Deputy Director, Minister’s Secretariat Department.
1999 - 2000 – Deputy Director, Secretariat General Department (Deputy Secretary General).
2000 - 2004 – Minister-Counsellor at the Russian Embassy in Libya.
2005 - 2018 - Deputy Director, Human Resources Department, MFA of Russia.
Since 2018 - Ambassador of the Russian Federation to New Zealand, Samoa and Tonga.
Married. Has a son.
