The 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2021)

The 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is set to take place on 2–5 June 2021.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is a unique event in the world of business and economics. SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006, it has been held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation, who has also attended each event.

Over the last 21 years, the Forum has become a leading global platform for members of the business community to meet and discuss the key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets, and the world as a whole.

In connection with the announcement made by the World Health Organization to declare the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic, and in the interest of preventing its spread in the Russian Federation and protecting the health, rights and legitimate interests of Russian citizens as well as Forum participants and guests, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Organizing Committee has taken the decision to cancel the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2020 and to instead hold the 24th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2021.
